T.J. Schrette
California Licensed Professional Fiduciary (CLPF #1615)
Napa Valley is where I was born and raised, and it's where I've always wanted to build something meaningful and lasting. Before becoming a fiduciary, I spent years in the tech sector managing complicated, large-scale projects throughout North America. That work taught me how to bring order to complexity, coordinate between many moving parts, and follow through on commitments under real pressure.
When I started thinking seriously about the kind of long-term career I wanted to build, I sought out work that would use those strengths while also letting me work directly with people, one on one, in ways that made a real difference in their lives. The more I researched what a professional fiduciary actually does, the more it felt like exactly the kind of work I wanted to spend my life doing: detailed, high-stakes work that directly protects families at some of the hardest moments in their lives.
I'm building Napa Fiduciary Group as the next chapter of a fiduciary practice that has served this community for over 30 years, and I take that responsibility seriously. My goal is to carry that legacy forward while bringing the same care and attention to every family I serve, however large or small their situation.

Why Work With Us
A professional fiduciary exists to remove a burden from a family, not add one. That means acting with loyalty to the trust or estate above any personal interest, treating every beneficiary according to the document's terms rather than personal opinion, and keeping clear, accurate records of every decision made along the way. We treat what's been entrusted to us with the same care we'd want for our own — because our business is to take care of your business.
That's the standard this practice is built on, and it's the standard we hold ourselves to on every matter, regardless of size.
